"Good, but not for the price" by NancyLuisa (11 reviews)
August 08, 2008 - There are so many amazing restaurants in Seattle that I find it difficult to recommend those that are merely good, especially when they are priced to be great.  Our service was friendly and enjoyable, but the restaurant was very loud and filled with trendy people who seemed more concerned with being seen than with the food.  Don't get me wrong... the food was fine, but forgettable.  Too many wonderful restaurants around to go back here.

"I can't believe we took so long to eat here!" by Kate G-S (4 reviews)
May 10, 2008 - We decided on a whim to finally  eat here and are very happy we did.  Food was wonderful and service relaxed but impeccable.
The restaurant itself is lovely.  A good amount of room between tables and the noise level is perfect.  Not so quiet that you feel you can't guffaw but not volume bouncing off walls either.
We will be back!

"sooooo good and worth every single penny" by muffintop1029 (86 reviews)
March 26, 2007 - The last time I had a full course meal at Zoe was nearly 7 years ago when the restaurant first opened.  Our experience was memorable then and our meal tonight brought back the very same smiles and sighs of satisfaction.  We had the $25 3-course meal tonight and it was fabulous.  Every single course was amazing.  The ricotta-filled gnudi, cousin of the gnocchi, was dressed in a sauce made from brown butter and truffle oil--a sauce so delicious, i wanted a few more spoons full.  The potato-leek soup was silky and smooth, just a beautiful consistency.  For entrees, we chose the incredibly moist pork tenderloin on a bed of curried barley, figs, and the most tender spinach leaves, and the pink trout on top of a hazelnuts and turnip mix.  I have to say that I was not sold on the trout when the dish was suggested, but it certainly exceeded my expectations.  And lastly, for dessert we had the warm chocolate tart with peppermint ice cream and the lavender panna cotta topped with a rhubarb compote and side of strawberry juice.  What a great night of dining!

"25 for $25 Dinner" by fortes (5 reviews)
March 22, 2007 - I had dinner there last night, and it was great! For the appetizer, I had a gnutti (sp?) -- which is kind of like a cheesy gnocchi. Small portion, but quite good. My main course was a pan-seared trout which was done very well -- nothing amazing, but solid. For dessert, I chose the Stilton cheese, which was much better than ending with something sweet. Recommended.

"Always solid" by kreitzerj2 (2 reviews)
March 10, 2007 - Zoe rarely disappoints, and while many restaurants skimp on their 25 for 25 offerings, Zoe's selection was extensive.  Check out the gnudi, trout and chocolate tarte.  Excellent selection of half-bottles.  Nothing overly imaginative, but always competent.
