"excellent mussels and beer!" by Ashley Parker (1 review)
August 10, 2008 - This restaurant was an absolute treat in an unexpected place. I went with two of my friends to fete a friend who was moving away for a new job. We had heard about it on DCFoodies and also on Urban Spoon, and since we are fans of beer and European style dishes, we had to try it!
We were not disappointed; we ordered Moules (the blue cheese ones and the beer style) and a big heaping bowl of frites with truffle aioli and garlic ranch. I asked our waiter about a beer reference and he pointed me to a blonde ale; it was all excellent. The mussels were perfect and the fries were better than any I had ever had. This is totally worth the trek over to Union Station!! Highly recommended!
